Scenario Gamma 2.9, 2011/04/03. This is an example how the game in gamma 2.9 can start. At first player RED builds some small E3W2 warships to flood and capture the nearby starsystems. In the next step he built some E7C3 freighter units to transport resources from those starsystems to the capital, where later the first startillery unit is built. To speed up and raise the production atleast 1 techship is built atfirst, later some additonal techunits. While player RED expands to the next zones of starsystems he built up defending startillery units. Advice: Watch this video on youtube, change quality from 360p to 1080p HD, and then switch to full screen. This requires a good DSL connection, however then you see the real screen of the game.

How to win in GALAXIAE a match vs. 5 players (DEFENDER brains) on a large map
In this video (video replay 10x faster than the game) we show how to win a match on a large map with 5 players. By chance we started nearly in the middle of the map; in most cases this is quite hard, because all oppenents are attack from all sides. In this case we were lucky to capture a StarSystem with a 37% TechShip ...bonus right at the beginning. This way we build a lot of TechShips and outnumbered the production of hostile players after a while. The DEFENDER brain cannot adapt the strategy of building larger warships, so after a while the other player had no strong units to defend and built not enough Emines to destroy incoming warships. Although this game was played with hundreds of units it was finished in less than 1,800 impulses (ca. 20 minutes).
Galaxiae | Example for using TechShips and GravShips
Within this video we show you how we have created a TechMultiple >5 within 1,000 impulses and how we can drag StarSystems with a GravShip. TechShips slowly raise the number of resources that can be produced on a StarSystem (Value V). When you start a game your tech multiple is 1.0. If you have a tech multiple of 5.0 this means that a V10 star does not produce 10 resources but 50 (!!!) resources in half a minute. This higher production rate is the reason why we suddenly could build a lot of GravShips and even E20W20 warships. An E20 GravShip can drag [D] your own, a free or even an enemy starsystem 1 square in 30 seconds. Especially in longer games you can change this way the star map within a game. Annotation: We recorded 1 screenshot every 5 seconds and replay these pictures with 2 pictures per seconds, so this replay is 10 times faster than the original game. How to loose a game by forgetting to defend your own capital star system: This video shows how you loose the game on a map with 100 stars and 10 players. At first we have conquered star systems NORTH EAST and we succeeded to conquer the CAPITAL of a player in the NORTH EAST, however after a while suddenly some violet units are incomming from the SOUTH WEST. Our only real defense unit was a E12W12 ship which was destroyed maybe by an enemy drone. At that point there was only one E4W4 warship left, not enough to defend our capital. Quickly another E12W12 warship was built by us on another star system (EAST), however it didn't reach the capital in time, so our capital was captured before we could use the reserve unit.
Example for E3W3 warship flodding [HD]. In this example played on 1920x1080px we show how one can win against DEFENDER brain on a small map with 50 stars by flooding the galaxy with small E3W3 warships. If you see the first enemy units try to find the enemies CAPITAL and conquer it. The replay is 10x faster then the game. You can watch this video in HD resolution.
